So, I was just about to post about the ooga booga party tomorrow, and thought, wait, I should fully break up our stream of constant event plugging with something that is not so time/place sensitive... well, this is maybe more time sensitive, but in a different way (fuck, was that even a pun? I think it was too dumb to even be a pun... read on, please)
If you're like me, you have spent years looking for the perfect alarm clock... I have pretty intense anxiety disorder stuff that revolves around a fear that the alarm won't go off in the morning, and I will miss whatever it is that I have first on the agenda... WELL, this is, I think, maybe the best alarm clock ever made. It is made by Sony, and I think it is called the "Dream Machine." It costs $19 at Best Buy, has an internal automatic time setting function (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) so when you plug it in it immediately sets itself to the local time, it is pretty small, it has two pretty close to fool proof alarms (so you and your partner can wake at separate times) and the speakers are very un-piercing.

And, since it is so cheap ($19!), if you are prone to breaking stuff, it is not the biggest deal in the world to replace... but that's still a waste of plastic... so... uhm...
